An artist is one whose life’s work, or passion or hobby, revolves around one or more creative projects. Those who make films, write stories, or paint for pleasure are all artists. Being an artist is doing anything that involves creativity and imagination, especially if you end up with a finished product in your hands. Sometimes this word is used to indicate a person who is truly capable and brilliant in what he does and who uses style and originality in his creations.
